Refurbishment of a house in Cadaqués
The renovation proposes concentrating the elements to create two rooms of equal proportion: the interior room and the exterior room. They are not understood as separate spaces, but as two complementary ways of inhabiting.
The interior room combines bedroom and living room into a single space. A central bench organises circulation and expands views, creating a continuous perception of the space.
The exterior room is defined as an open space where microclimate becomes part of the project. Sun exposure, shade, and ventilation shape different use conditions throughout the day. Existing elements such as the railing and the barbecue are restored, and a bench is added that establishes a new relationship with the landscape and the existing context.
